Our Story

From a Persian table
to an Adelaide bench.

For generations, this pastry sat on Persian tables not as indulgence, but as ceremony — offered with tea, with conversation, with the slow hours of the day. It was never sweet for the sake of being sweet. It was built around the perfume of saffron and the warmth of cardamom.

Shah Persian Cuisine began with a simple idea: that this craft deserved to be made properly, in small batches, with whole ingredients you can read off the back of the box — and recast for the way people live now.

So we set up a kitchen in Adelaide and started laying pastry by hand, sheet by sheet. No factory line. No shortcuts. Just twenty to forty fine layers, butter, slow-roasted nuts, and saffron steeped in rosewater.

This is SPC Rituals: a premium Persian-inspired energy ritual, not a tray of sweets.

What we hold to · 02

The way we
make it.

By hand, in layers

Twenty to forty fine sheets, each brushed with butter before the next is laid. No factory line, no shortcuts — the structure is the point.

Whole ingredients

Egg, milk, flour, butter, real nuts, saffron and rosewater — everything you can read off the back of the box. Honest indulgence, not a sugar rush.

Made to be shared

Designed for cafés, restaurants and tables that take the moment seriously — a ritual to slow down with, not just a dessert to finish.

“It was never sweet for the sake of being sweet. It was built around the perfume of saffron and the warmth of cardamom.”

The journey · 03

From recipe
to ritual.

The Origin

A centuries-old craft

Layered Persian pastry — saffron, cardamom, slow-roasted nuts — passed down through generations as a gesture of hospitality, never as mere confection.

The Move

Brought to Adelaide

Shah Persian Cuisine set up a small kitchen in South Australia, committed to making it properly: by hand, in small batches, with nothing hidden.

The Rebrand

SPC Rituals is born

The pastry was recast as a premium Persian-inspired energy ritual — three nut-led expressions, each named for a moment of the day.
